What is Acai?
Acai is, supposedly, a magical berry that aids in weight loss. Sites all over the Web tout its manifold virtues and apparent ability to help you slash your body weight in half within days (sans exercise and dieting, of course).
You can do the research on acai for yourself; it seems to work for some and it may be the solution for you. However, you should be aware that many Internet scams center around acai:
- The pills you order may not actually contain acai.
- You may get snagged into a deceptive free trial offer that will charge you far more than the innocent shipping fee that it claims is your only risk.
How Can I Stay Safe?
- Research any diet supplement thoroughly before purchasing it. Find reviews, read the ingredient label, and be sure that you understand any associated risks of the pill you choose.
- Don't ever try any of the "free" trial offers out there, no matter how tempting they may seem. If it seems too good to be true, it is.
