Why You Should Double Check that Facebook Invite Before You Press Send
Remember that German girl who accidentally invited 15,000 people to her birthday party? Well apparently she's not the only one to commit this particular Facebook goof. In the German town Wuppertal 800 people showed up after someone created a public Facebook invite. The results was a large amount of work for the police including 41 arrests and 16 injuries (according to AllFacebook.com).
Now German officials are considering banning Facebook parties completely. One official even proposed the idea of an"Internet driving license" that would force teens to learn about the potential hazards affiliated with Facebook and let the government bill parents if Facebook events get out of control. However officials are not united on this front. Some people think German youth just need more education on the consequences of uncontrollable parties.
What do you think? Would a ban be justified?
