Messaging a la Facebook

The Facebook messaging system is getting a new look and feel. Rumors were going around that Facebook would release an email service similar to gmail or yahoo! mail, but Facebook's system is designed to be a little more relaxed. Each user will have a @facebook email address, but there will be no subject lines, or CCs. The messaging system will be focused on friend connections and will be less formal than traditional e-mail.
